We also need all JV & Varsity students to bring in 2 bags of mini-bite sized candy (any kind) to practice on Sept. 10th. This is for the goody bags we will be making to thank our teachers for so generously allowing us to use their classrooms for our tournament.

We also would like to encourage all the members to bring a dish (for 10-12) to pass for the judges and coaches’ lounge. Typical items include vegetarian or meat dishes, fruit salads, pasta salads, veggie plates, or any baked goods such as cakes, cookies, or brownies.

Questions? Contact Classic Co-Chairs Sue Cambre at 770-754-9852 or Liz Padron at 770-410-7768.

Mission Statement

2008-2009 Resolution

Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase alternative energy incentives in the United States.

Chattahoochee Debate is committed to 3 principles:

  1. providing the opportunity to experience and succeed at competitive policy debate for as many students as are interested;
  2. educating and familiarizing students about current events, ethics and philosophical perspectives in order to think about and analyze issues impacting their lives; and
  3. creating out of classroom competitive experiences that educate and prepare students for college and their lives after debate.
